The 22 room farm home was built by Olof Swensson and his daughter Katie (including the massive granite foundation). The home features a private 38x38' chapel! The 1880's barn features an elaborate system of windbracing and notching which attests to Swenssons skills as a builder and designer. An over $300,000.00 preservation of the barn was completed in 2003.
The annual Horse Power Event is held the 2nd Saturday in September. Watch as horse power only plows, cultivates, hays, mows, dig potatos and much more. Inside the house and barn area artisans brings life of the early 20th century alive!
