Description:
The E. St. Julien Cox House is an architectural marvel, as well as home to one of St. Peter’s most prominent residents. The home was built in 1871 for E. St. Julien Cox, a Civil War officer, attorney, St. Peter’s first mayor, state senator, and eventually district court judge. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1970, it remains one of the best examples of neo-Gothic Italianate architecture in Minnesota.
