The storybook / party room houses the storybook dolls and much more. The room is used for special events and can be rented for parties or meetings. There are "dress-up" clothes available for children's birthday parties or special occasions.

Opening Times:

The museum and gift shop are open Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 4 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 3 pm. Group tours are available year round by appointment and the storybook / party room is available to rent for parties or meetings.

Admissions:

Admission is $2.00 for adults, $1.00 for children age 12 and under.

Description:

The Story Lady Doll & Toy Museum features more than 1,500 dolls including antiques, story book characters, designer dolls, handcrafted dolls, and much more. There are also antique toys and a 70 year old hand-carved dancing doll display. The gift shop offers a wide variety of unique dolls and specialty toys.
The museum holds monthly events to showcase collections or provide education about toys and dolls. The storybook / party room can be rented for special parties or meetings.
There are "dress-up" clothes available for children's birthday parties or special occasions.
Group tours are available year round.

  • Vinyl Fisher Price My Friend dolls and Tomy’s Kimberly dolls from the 1980’s
  • Princess Diana dolls
  • Jackie Kennedy dolls
  • Effanbee famous people dolls
  • Emma Clear’s George and Martha Washington dolls
  • Lewis Sorenson wax lady doll
  • Dolls by Minnesota doll artists Faith Wick and Annie Wahl
  • Harry Potter dolls
  • Vintage toy and truck displays that change periodically
