TV Series to Showcase Minnesota Museums
Museums Of Minnesota website launched to support state museum community, gather information for Museums Of Minnesota television series.
ST. PAUL – A new public television series about Minnesota’s unique museums and attractions is now in pre-production here.
Museums Of Minnesota (MOM) will feature intriguing museums, monuments, murals and other attractions across the Gopher State.
Series director and host, Chuck Strinz, is visiting Minnesota communities and gathering information through a companion website, www.MuseumsOfMN.com. The series is a production of Back On The Mississippi, LLC, in broadcast partnership with Twin Cities Public Television’s Minnesota Channel. Strinz is urging all museum directors and community stakeholders to take advantage of this free PR opportunity.
“This website is a chance for every community to draw attention to what makes it special,” Strinz said. “Through the MOM website, tourists will be able to search museum listings by county or subject. It will help us learn what’s out there for the TV series, and we will be publicizing the website heavily so people everywhere can discover the hidden gems scattered across our fine state.”
Strinz’s company was founded in 2003, when it produced the Telly Award winning program Back On The Mississippi. Strinz is currently scouting potential locations for the MOM series. If your community has something special to add, and to see a longer version of this Publicity Release, visit www.MuseumsOfMN.com. Submitting an attraction is fast and easy, and provides immediate and free PR for Minnesota communities.
